Jon Gnagy: TV Artist Revisited!

 

Back in the 'olden days' of black and white TV, there was a great show that everone in my family watched. My mother would plop us down in front of the TV, pencil and paper in hand, and we would diligently follow his instructions. It was really how I learned to draw. 

 

Jon Gnagy sold a drawing kit and an instruction booklet so I chose a winter scene to learn perspective and 'near and far.'

 

We worked in black and white (lots of complaints due to lack of color!) but the results were pretty impressive!
